Calling all creative progressive activists! LA BAMBA – the Los Angeles Brigade of Activist Musicians, Bands, and Artists – is looking for musicians, singers, dancers, and other performing and visual artists to help us bring music and spectacle to LA protests, rallies, and marches!

Trumpet | Trombone | Saxophone | Clarinet | Flute | Melodica | Accordion | Tuba/Sousaphone | French Horn | Mellophone | Euphonium | Other Horns and Reeds | Drums and Percussion | Vocalists | Dancers & Flag Twirlers & Stilt Walkers | Visual Artists & Puppeteers
- You don’t have to be a professional, or even very experienced, to help us bring the spectacle to the streets.
- If you have good rhythm, you can start with a basic percussion instrument (we have plenty to share).
- If you would rather just watch, we could use your help with filming and taking photos of us!
- If you’re great at visuals, we need your help with costumes, puppets, signs, and other visual flair – or helping with social media.
- Perhaps your main instrument is guitar, but you played sax in high school? Pick up a used horn and join us!
- Dancers and stilt-walkers and other movement artists – we need you too!
