LA BAMBA takes safety seriously. We urge our members to get vaccinated for COVID-19. We only play outdoors. We have seen some studies suggesting that brass and woodwind instruments are not especially risky in terms of sending viral aerosols into the area, but please be mindful of where you empty spit valves.
We recommend all members wear hearing protection! Kids are welcome at our events, but hearing protection is even more strongly recommended for young ears.
