Trinkt, Briderlakh, L’chaim!

What HONK! band’s repertoire would be complete without a little klezmer? Here’s a traditional klezmer-style waltz whose title literally translates as Drink, Brothers, Cheers! It was first recorded in 1923, featuring clarinetist Shloimke Beckerman, with the Abe Schwartz Orchestra.

Klezmer is a traditional style of music from the Ashkenazi Jewish community, originating in Eastern Europe. Our version of this famous tune was arranged for us specially by Zach Gaston.
